Q: I don't know anything about what JavaScript is all about...and I'm currently trying to get a javascript dynamic menu that will float when I scroll down the page.
What makes javascript dynamic menu float from this text?
I saw the examples you have and I'd love to be able to do that on my website, but I don't understand the scripting that you have written there.

A: If you want to create a floatable menu, you should set an absolute position for the javascript dynamic menu and paste the following code into the <head> tag of your html page:

<script type="text/javascript">var dmWorkPath = "data.files/";</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="data.files/dmenu.js"></script>

Then set coordinates of top-left javascript dynamic menu corner in the data .js file, for example:

var absolutePos=1;
var posX=30;
var posY=110;

Then you should set var floatable=1 parameter.

This parameter makes a floatable menu.

You can also change any of javascript dynamic menu parameters inside data .js file.
